The Lake Michigan Basket is the third in a series of the Great Lakes Baskets. This basket is woven using an oval raw edge wood base, with drilled holes. No two bases are alike. Bi-spokes are added for strength. Triple twine and flat reeds are woven in four colors: sand, light blue, teal, and dark blue. The rim is finished with a beautiful woven braid. Included in the kit is a stone from Lake Michigan and it is connected to the basket via rock wrapping. Rocks vary in size and shape.
